The History of the Hopland Tap

Hopland Tap’s interior, with its hand-built Tom Carter bar, welcomes everyone to an historic building with 1880s brick walls and stamped tin cladding from 1906. The building has had a series of incarnations over time, including the HopVine Saloon for many years and the original Hopland Brewery that started making Red Tail Ale in 1983. We hope to bring back the history and the vibe that existed here for so long. You can enjoy the finest-kind brews and local wines in the hop-covered beer garden, or relax in the air conditioned bar and dining room. Either way, the locals and our happy staff will make you feel right at home. We hope to see you soon.

Cheers,

Ron
